Last week, many stunning and glamourous celebrities attended the Met Gala to reflect on the late and absolutely great Alexander McQueen.
Some celebrities wore McQueens work, others wore daring couture outfits - some of them were a disaster!
Best Dressed
1. Gisele Bündchen, in Alexander McQueen Stunning in red.
2. Jay-Z; with Beyoncé, in Emilio Pucci. A* for effort, but the chest section looks too tight.
3. Karen Elson, in Alexander McQueen. The colour really suits her pale complexion.
4. Liv Tyler, Marina Abramović, and Mariacarla Boscono, all in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, with the designer. The girl on the far right looks absolutely stunning in Givenchy, suits her very slim figure.
5. Blake Lively, in Chanel Haute Couture, with Karl Lagerfeld, in Tom Ford. It's impossioble for the new face of Chanel to ever look bad!
6. Gwyneth Paltrow, very slick and elegant in Stella McCartney.
7. Rihanna, looking hot as ever in Stella McCartney who constructed the dress very elegantly.
9. Natasha Poly looking fierce in Alexander Wang, with the designer.
11. Vera Wang, in her own design. This yellow looks beautiful on her, and the pleats are very well made.
12. Taylor Swift working the carpet in J. Mendel.
13. ONLY André Leon Talley could pull this off!
14. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, in Burberry. LOVE the revealing open slit, so gorgeous and lovely colour.
15. Jason Wu with Diane Kruger, in a dress by the designer. Another long open slit, amazing embroidery on the top half.
16. Mary-Kate Olsen, in vintage Givenchy, some may disagree but only Mary-Kate could pull this off, she may look tiny but the floaty red dress has a summery feel and some how appropriate for the red carpet.
17. Zoe Saldana, in Calvin Klein Collection. Shockingly I'm starting to love yellow dresses on the red carpet. So strikingly beautiful.
18. Fergie (far right) standing out in Marchesa looking G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S
19. Liu Wen, in Alexander McQueen (far left). This dress is definitely one of my favourites; the structured upper half of the dress is just amazing!
20. Rolf Snoeren and Viktor Horsting, in Viktor & Rolf Monsieur. Very unusual, very cool.
21. Jessica Szohr, in Topshop Unique. Topshop? To the greatest red carpet event?! Well I have to admit she looks young, flirtly and chic. I guess that's a good enough excuse.
22. Miranda Kerr, in Marchesa, with Harry Winston jewels and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes; with Orlando Bloom. Some would say she looks like a ballerina bride, I think she looks very cute and unique - with killer heels!
23. Thandie Newton, in Stella McCartney. Very good combination of lovely luxury materials.
24. Hailee Steinfeld, in Stella McCartney. She's probably the youngest celeb there but she can definitely outshine most of them!
25. Eva Mendes, in a glamourous pleated blue by Stella McCartney.
26. Coco Rocha, in Alexander McQueen. Reminds me of a fierce tribal queen.
Worst Dressed
1. Sarah Burton, in Alexander McQueen. She looks a bit too "mumsy", too floaty, quite messy looking.
2. Hamish Bowles, in Alexander McQueen. I understand why he wore this outfit, but come oonn! It just doesn't look right!
3. Jessica Chastain, in Emilio Pucci, with Forevermark jewels; with designer Peter Dundas. A slightly odd couple, very odd outfits.
4. Margherita Missoni, Joy Bryant both in Missoni, why did you think this would look good on a red carpet event? The beach is that waay > !
5. Kristen Bell, in Tory Burch. Reminds me of gold tin foil.
6. Dee Hilfiger and Tommy Hilfiger, both in his designs. She looks like a bird and he looks like belongs in a cheap casino.
7. Britt Maren, in Winter Kate. Why are women going for the horrible cheap looking tin foil style? She is drawing the wrong attention when we should be looking at Nicole Richie, in vintage.
8. Shalom Harlow, in Marchesa. I see where this was going, but it looks terrible.
9. Christina Ricci, in Zac Posen. One question: Why?! You look tiny!
10. Serena Williams stick to tennis, sweetie.
11. Cassie, in Rag & Bone. Cass you're one of the new faces for CK One! You are so stunning, but you choose to wear the cheap, trying too hard to look sexy dress?
12. Iman, in Stella McCartney. I literally burst out laughing, definition of a "Hot Mess".
"She looks Like a Monet - From far away, it's OK, but up close, it's a big old mess"
1. Daphne Guinness, in Alexander McQueen. BIG BIRD! Definitely looks better on the catwalk.
2. Naomi Campbell, in Alexander McQueen. Apparently she looked gorgeous in person, but it looks really strange (far away AND close up!)
3. Jennifer Lopez, in Gucci. One of the first time I have to disagree with J-Lo's red carpet dress. The shoulders look a bit messy.
4. Anna Dello Russo, in Alexander McQueen. Love the trousers, but is that an ice cream scoop on her head?!
5. Natalia Vodianova, in Valentino, with Valentino Garavani. Another item that looks better on the catwalk, too much going on, on one dress.
6. Ashley Olsen, in vintage Dior Couture. The sleeves? It ruins the dress. Sorry Ashley!!
7. Sofia Vergara, in Carolina Herrera. Nearly EVERY event she wears Herrera, but not too keen on the flower print.
Any opinions on my opinions?
